20th February 2007 -  Ink World Birmingham (NW)  opening soon! We are pleased to announce that our latest store (store No.10) will be open shortly - Ink World Birmingham (NW) on Soho Road, Handsworth.

17th January 2007 -  Master Franchisee Licence for Ireland! Ink World are pleased to announce that we today signed a Master Franchisee Licence with Harry Taylor (Ink World Belfast E Franchisee) which gives him the rights to advertise, recruit and develop Ink World franchises in the whole of Ireland. Ink World Managing Director Mark Reid said "Not only does this mean that Ink World will expand rapidly in Ireland, but also allows Ink World in the UK to concentrate on building our franchise network here in England, Scotland & Wales". We are still in discussions with further potential Master Franchisees who are looking to establish the Ink World brand in Europe.

13th December 2006 -  Ink World stores into double figures! We are pleased to announce that we will shortly be opening our tenth Ink World store. Due to open in the Midlands area in January/February 2007, this is the first of the stores lined up for opening in 2007.

13th December 2006 -  Master Franchisee Licences We are currently in discussions with a number of potential Master Franchisees who are looking to establish the Ink World brand in other countries. If you would like further information about establishing Ink World overseas, please contact us.

11th October 2006 -  National Franchise Exhibition success!. We are pleased to announce that following the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC on 6th & 7th October, we have a number of interested parties in setting up Ink World franchise stores throughout the UK. More details to follow.

29th August 2006 -  Ink World Havant  now open! We are pleased to announce that our latest store is now open - Ink World Havant on Market Parade, Havant.

16th August 2006 -  Free tickets available for the National Franchise Exhibition, at the NEC! To help continue our expansion in the UK, Ink World will be exhibiting at the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on October 6th & October 7th 2006. Come and see on stand A80! 9th August 2006 -  New store opening shortly &  more under offer! We are pleased to announce that we have a new store due to open on Tuesday 29th August 2006 at Ink World Havant near Portsmouth, Hampshire.

26th June 2006 -  Ink World sponsor Nationwide Conference Football Team Nuneaton Borough! We are proud to announce that we have signed a sponsorship deal with Nuneaton Borough Football Club and that the Ink World logo will appear on the players and replica shirts for the 2006/2007 football season. 5th June 2006 -  Ink World Belfast (E)  now open! We are pleased to announce that our latest store is now open. Ink World Belfast (E) on Bloomfield Roundabout, Belfast opened for business on 5th June 2006. Our next store will be opening in Birmingham in the next three-four weeks, the opening date will be confirmed shortly.

22nd May 2006 -  Ink World Amesbury now open! We are pleased to announce that our latest store is now open. Ink World Amesbury near Salisbury, Wiltshire opened for business on May 22nd 2006. At the preview night on Friday 19th May, the local mayor David Reed officially opened the store. Other attendees included representatives from the local Chamber of Commerce, Natwest and others involved in helping set-up the store.

5th May 2006 -  Two more stores opening shortly & two more under offer! We are pleased to announce that we have two new stores due to open within the next four weeks. Ink World Amesbury near Salisbury, Wiltshire will be opening on May 22nd 2006. In the first week of June, our first store in Northern Ireland is due to open in Belfast - Ink World Belfast (E). We also have a third new store due to open in the Midlands within the next month or so, details to be confirmed later. Our fourth new store is currently under deposit and is also due to open very soon.

10th January 2006 - Ink World Shrewsbury in the papers! The Shropshire Star featured an article recently about the Ink World franchisee, Darren Whittall, receiving the 'Franchisee of the Month' award from the BFA Magazine 'Business Franchise. Click here to read the article.

9th January 2006 - Ink World expansion! In 2005 the number of Ink World stores trading in the UK more then doubled and in 2006 we are looking to do the same again! Our strategy is to increase the number of stores in the UK and to establish the Ink World brand in the UK during 2006. 30th December 2005 - Two new Ink World stores on the horizon! Ink World are pleased to announce we have at least two new Ink World franchise stores due to open in the first half of 2006. More details and locations of the new stores will be revealed nearer to the store launches.

12th December 2005 - Ink World Xmas Party and Get Together! Ink World held its annual Xmas Party at the Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City, on Saturday 10th December. Nearly twenty Ink World staff, franchisees and partners enjoyed an excellent evening of superb food and entertainment.

1st December 2005 - Ink World used as a Case Study! An article about Ink World appeared in the December edition of the BFA (British Franchise Association) newsletter 'NewsBITES'. Distributed to over 15,000 subscribers the article was all about BFA Franchising Seminars and how Ink World had successfully launched its franchise programme by firstly going to the BFA Franchising Seminars and then by using BFA affiliated consultants and lawyers to form the franchise package.

15th November 2005 - 'Ink For Schools' launched! Ink World are pleased to announce that we have launched a new scheme for schools near to our Ink World stores which benefits schools and colleges with free inkjet supplies, stationery supplies and equipment. Local schools and colleges register for free at their Ink World store and receive free full-colour leaflets advertising the scheme to distribute to their pupils and students. Each time a pupil, student or parent makes a purchase Ink World will donate 1 ink point for every full £1 spent in-store. Ink points can then be redeemed by the school or college for inkjet cartridges, laser toner, stationery, printers etc.

1st November 2005 - National Award for Ink World franchisee! We are please to announce that Darren Whittall, the Ink World Shrewsbury franchisee, has won the 'Franchisee of the Month' award in the Business Franchise magazine for the month of November. Business Franchise magazine is the official magazine of the British Franchise Association, the regulatory body for franchising in the UK and provides news reports and features on the £9.1 billion industry.

10th October 2005 - Ink World at the NEC! On Friday 7th & Saturday 8th, Ink World had a stand at the National Franchise Exhibition held at the NEC. Interest in the Ink World franchise package was very high and several visits have already been arranged over the next four weeks.

6th September 2005 - New website for Southern Ireland! Ink World are pleased to announce the launch of a new website for customers based in Southern Ireland at www.inkworld.ie. 26th August 2005 - Free tickets to the National Franchise Exhibition! 22nd July 2005 - More deposits for territories received. Ink World is pleased to announce that we have received further deposits for more territories, subject to finding suitable retail premises we will have more new stores opening in the near future.

12th July 2005 - Dell Inkjet Cartridges refilled. We are pleased to announce that our stores* can now refill DELL branded cartridges while-u-wait with high quality matched inks which will match the performance of the original cartridge. Black cartridges are refilled for just £8.99 and colour for just £9.99.

30th September 2004 - BFA Membership confirmed. As we prepare for the launch of the Ink World Franchise at the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday 8th & Saturday 9th October, we are pleased to announce that we have been confirmed as members (Provisional List) of the British Franchise Association (www.british-franchise.org). In joining the BFA we have demonstrated that we are taking all reasonable measures to make sure that our Franchise is properly developed and tested for the franchise method. 1st May 2003 - Our first store opens. We are pleased to announce the launch of our first Ink World retail store in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
